Post-Valentine's Day.

I wasn't really in the mood to write a "special" Valentine's entry, so I apologize. I suppose it'll be something I'll write about when I have the time. Lately, I've been bombarded with more midterms and I just really got to prepare for them, you know what I mean.

First of all, birthday shout outs to Allen (2/07), Padsy (2/11), and Kevin (2/21)!

How was everyone's Valentine's day? No I'm sorry, Single Awareness Day? I believe it's stupid how someone decided to put such a "holiday" in the middle of the month of February, and declared it a day of love. In relationships, shouldn't it be Valentine's Day every day? What makes this day so special, anyway? Just an "excuse to make up for all the other 364 days that you've been a crappy bf/gf?" I'm not bitter about this "holiday", but if you were to put yourself in a single person's shoes, you'd be in an awkward position and out of the norm just because you're single. But one does not need to mope; he/she has a huge advantage over the taken people: he/she can use that money to pamper himself/herself! All is not bleak. What is great about Valentine's Day? The 50% off sales of chocolate the next day! I actually got up and walked to K-Mart and bought some chocolate for my chocolate fix.

I've had an interesting weekend. My friend Kevin invited me to his birthday party, and lots of crazy shit happened; a lot of which I've experienced for the first time in my life, e.g. getting messed up with alcohol. Despite all that, I've met up with some people, who I have not seen in a million years. It was a memorable evening.

Anyway, I've got Statistics and Chemistry midterms this week, so I better hit the books for now.
